The mission of Student Organization of the Geo-Institute is to be a student-led body that functions to enhance the educational and personal experience of students in the geo-engineering community at the North Carolina State University. The organization will be committed to increasing student awareness of the geotechnical engineering profession as well as the North Carolina State University’s reputation as a leader in graduate geotechnical engineering education. The graduate student organization will work to engage the undergraduate civil engineering population at the North Carolina State University by promoting participation in student activities organized by the Geo-Institute.
